A practical starting point for choosing a frame, motor, stack and propeller combination.
Start with the frame
A frame sets the available space and mounting patterns. Write down the stack spacing, motor mounts and propeller clearance before comparing electronics.
Match the power system
Consider motor size, KV, battery cell count and propeller load together. Use the component manufacturer’s test data for the exact combination.
Plan before assembly
Check connector orientation, wire lengths and access to the USB port. Inspect continuity with the power disconnected. Remove propellers during bench setup.
